Grand Designs Live, the number one consumer exhibition show for self build, interior design and innovation was a huge success for William Holland this year. Surrounded by inspiration and creative solutions, The Grand Designs magazine team scoured the halls for their top selection of products and stands, and we are thrilled to have been selected from over 500 exhibitors as one of their winners of the Grand Designs Loves award.

Design guru Kevin McCloud stated “I wanted a mix of radical, environmentally friendly products from manufacturers that we should be using more,” says McCloud. “There’s also an emphasis on recycled materials, or products from small makers and craftspeople.”

This emphasis on handcrafted products utilising reclaimed materials is evidence of a key trend change in consumers moving away from disposability and back to the quality and longevity of products created by skilled master craftsmen, re-awakening the joy of hand crafted bespoke interiors, and truly unique products that can be recycled, upcycled and updated as many times as your imagination allows – in other words re-connecting with the ethics at the core of William Holland.
