Will Trickett, award winning Dutch Barge builder and Star of Kevin McCloud’s Man Made Home on Channel 4 found the perfect petite residence for our 1500 Bateau Bath.
Tucked away on the historic Kennet and Avon Canal route, amongst some spectacular landscape is a treasure trove of canal boat innovation. Creating exciting and beautiful bespoke crafts for the river boating community for over a decade, Will has carved out a highly respected reputation for luxury craftsmanship and expertise.
Featuring exquisite carpentry, from sunburst wood panelling to art deco cabinetry, each interior is a masterclass of skill and craftsmanship, utilising only the finest materials.
Our William Holland Patina Bateau bath was selected for one of these bespoke premier builds, forming a stunning focal feature of the private bathroom and adding an element of vintage/industrial chic. The petite proportions work perfectly within the space yet provide a luxurious soak in ultimate comfort. The living finish of the copper patina works in harmony with the natural materials, whilst the tin interior creates a soft and inviting contrast.
Positioned across one corner of the suite, the stunning bath is curvaceously hugged by a glorious handcrafted wooden sideboard, which gently reflects the curve of the bath and creates an organic surround.
This immaculately crafted vessel proves it’s not just mansions and Boutique hotels with generous suites that can accommodate a freestanding copper bath. Available in three sizes from 1500mm -2000mm, the diminutive delights of our most petite bath is still a generous and luxurious experience for one, yet suitable for even the most compact of rooms.
